Black Orchid

Launched in 2006 and created by perfumers David Apel and Pierre Negrin under Tom Ford's creative direction, Black Orchid is a dark amber chypre for those who embrace mystery, drama and luxury. It's velvety, dark and unmistakable.

It opens with French truffle, ylang-ylang, blackcurrant and bergamot. It's dramatic, fruity and rich.

The heart turns to black orchid with floral and spicy accords. It's lush, floral and warm.

The base settles into Mexican chocolate, patchouli, incense, amber and vanilla. It's dark, sweet and very long on the skin.

A note on wear: it suits evenings, cooler weather and special occasions.
